Coronavirus Pandemic Preparation FSSI is continuing strong and is in full operation in both our Santa Ana and Dallas facilities. Our strength, we believe, is based on several important factors in how we’re managing the company and the impact of the pandemic. We have a dedicated team who understands the importance of our clients’ work, demonstrates our core values on a daily basis and is trained and cross-trained in order to keep the operation moving forward. Our diverse client base has ensured we have steady production – very few of our clients have reduced their production needs and, in fact, some have increased their activity. Our strong supplier and vendor relationships, and investment in additional inventories, has resulted in zero shortages of paper, ink, envelopes and other critical supplies. We continue to invest in new equipment and software to expand capacity and improve workflow, communications and security. We’re still expanding our team by hiring new employees as we grow and add production capabilities. Building-cleanliness has been a keen focus and we’ve hired an outside company to deep-clean twice a month to augment the normal daily cleaning by our inhouse Facilities team. The entire FSSI team’s personal efforts of social distancing, washing hands and wearing masks is working – no COVID-19 cases so far.  FSSI’s Executive and Senior Management Teams have been meeting together two or three times a week since this pandemic started. While the first month was spent reviewing challenges and accomplishments, we are now turning our focus toward making the transition to a “Post COVID” operation. Knowing there are still many unanswered questions related to government regulations and social distancing requirements, our mindsets are definitely looking to getting back to our normal operation.  

We continue to be grateful that we are an “essential business” and able to provide meaningful services to our clients throughout this difficult time, when so many are suffering personal, health and economic hardships. SSAE18 SOC and HIPAA Certifications – these annual audits have started this month, including penetration testing and auditing both the Santa Ana and Dallas facilities. We expect to receive completed audit reports from the CPA firm no later than August 1st.

Network Maintenance Schedules Our next monthly Network Maintenance is Sunday, May 17th from 6-10pm Pacific Time. Our next full-day Quarterly Network Maintenance is Sunday, June 14th from at 9am- 5pm Pacific Time. During these time we will be updating our network with the latest security patches and updates. Please plan for intermittent loss of connectivity to all systems during this time, including SFTP transmissions, internet web availability, workStreamOne, letterStreamOne and PDF Approvals.

Memorial Day, May 25th – FSSI will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.
