USPS News – There are no postage increases for First Class Mail so far for 2026. The USPS plans to review and possibly adjust rates in July.

USPS Tactile Postage Incentive – The USPS Incentive program for utilizing tactile envelopes is effective January 1^st – June 30^th in 2026. FSSI has ordered tactile house envelopes to take advantage of the postal discounts. Please contact your Account Rep. if you would like to benefit from this discount using your custom envelopes.

Paper Prices – All major US paper mills have announced paper price increases for February. The paper market continues to experience significant tightening in the uncoated freesheet (UFS) sector,  driven by mill closures, less imported paper due to tariffs, and less capacity across North American producers.

Network Maintenance – Our first network maintenance window is a monthly maintenance on Sunday, January 18^th. During the monthly maintenance cycles, FSSI’s NetOps team updates the latest security patches as needed. Please expect intermittent loss of connectivity to FTP/SFTP transmissions, internet web availability, workStreamOne, letterStreamOne, electronic presentment and PDF approvals.
