When you send data to FSSI, how do you know it is secure? How about the statements themselves - is that information safe? What about the facility the statements are produced in - could anyone gain access and steal confidential information?
At FSSI, we use state-of-the-art software and hardware to protect incoming data from outsiders. We don't hold your data any longer than necessary, and when we're finished processing it, we delete it. Without giving away all our secrets, we use multiple firewalls and secure connections to deny access to anyone but our known clients. We strongly encourage data encryption to protect the confidentiality of any personalized information. Naming conventions and file recognition also serve to streamline the data transmission process.
Sometimes, we need to do reprints. Our Quality process dictates that when print quality is not acceptable, all the duplicate output is shredded on site. The same is true in mailing - the damaged statements are all shredded following the reprint process. We've invested in an industrial shredder that grinds the paper into a fine pulp. Only then do we ship it out for recycling.
We have 4 levels of security in our facility, all tied to badge access, and we employ digitally recording cameras that monitor activity inside and outside of the buildings. We recently received our SAS 70 audit, which takes a comprehensive look at all our security controls, and we will continue to improve our overall security as new methods and technologies become available.
